Shopian: Another Militant Dead amidst Gunfight; Highway monitored after Ganderbal
The Indian Armed Forces have hunted down another militant in Shopian, with death toll on militants being 3, now.
A search operation is underway. Internet in Shopian remains suspended.
Meanwhile, drones are being used to monitor Srinagar-Jammu highway post-Ganderbal incident, in search of militant movement. The identified militant, Shabir Ahmad, hailed from Awantipora, South Kashmir, and the incident took place in Ganderbal, North Kashmir.
Militants slain in Shopian encounter have been identified as Sajad Malla from Maldera Shopian, Junaid Rasheed from Tumlahal Pulwama and Mehraj Din from Arigam Pulwama.
Of these, two were of Al-Badr and one of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen
