Kulgam Encounter and Event at Keran

2 militants have been killed in a gunfight at Chinigam, Kulgam.
On the other hand, weapons supply bid at Keran, Kupwara, has been foiled.
4 AK-47 rifles, 4 magazines and more than 200 rounds were discovered by the Indian Armed Forces.

Dr. Saifullah Slain

In a tragic event for the Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, Indian Forces have killed Dr. Saifullah Mir urf Ghazi Haider, at the Rangreth area of Srinagar. Dr. Saifullah had taken over as Chief Commander after the killing of Riyaz Naikoo. With Dr. Saifullah no more, the HM has again been left leaderless.  Indian forces termed it as a great success.
