Gunfight at Kangan
An encounter broke out between militants and Indian Army at the Kangan Village, Chakoora, Shopian, South Kashmir, after a cordon and search operation by the Army.
2 militants have been killed. Search underway.
Gupkar Declaration
All eyes are now set upon the Gupkar Declaration, which will take place at the Gupkar area of Srinagar, wherein signatories from various parties like the JKNC, JKPDP, Awami Itehad Party, JKPM, and other parties will meet together, looking forward to a way to restore the status of Jammu and Kashmir as an autonomous state. The only signatories that won't be present would be Engineer Rashid and IAS Shah Faesal.
